Watada Printing can embed digital watermarks. It is a technology to embed imperceptible information, for example, on photos and images. By rewriting the halftone dots at the time of printing, the information can be embedded without affecting the original design. The codes are independent of size and shape.
Embedding of information is achieved by color information as well as by watermark algorithms. The printed halftone image is shot by a camera, and the codes are reproduced using special software to read the embedded information.
Digital watermarking is a new technology that is suitable for areas such as POP displays, card games, copyright protection (identification of ownership), information traceability (distribution management), authentication (counterfeit detection), measurement of marketing (measurement of Internet access information), production and logistics management.
